STATE OF SIEGE 26/11 REVIEW : A DETAILING OF HORRIFYING NIGHT AND BRAVERY OF OUR SOLDIERS !

State of Siege : 26/11 is based on the book “Black Tornado: The Three Sieges of Mumbai 26/11” by Sandeep Unnithan. 26/11 is a date which remains a nightmare for INDIANS, especially MUMBAIKAR when 10 terrorists attacked MUMBAI and created nuisance in the whole city.

The series starts showing how the 10 terrorists entered the city of Mumbai and ends on showing that how our brave NSG COMMANDOS gave their best to save the city. I would have loved it more if this would have been a 6 episode series of 30 mins per episode to make it more gripping. This 8 epsiode series is very slow paced and too stretched. There are many unnecessary scenes added to lengthen the run time of series and may be that|s necessary for a this format of storytelling and scrap it into parts. There are many scenes where one would feel the pain of those who died during the attacks od 26/11.

On positive side, some scenes are well executed and one connects with it. Scenes from TAJ HOTEL, CST STATION & CHABAD HOUSE are reslly heartbreaking to see. Talking about the performances the guy playing AJMAL KASAB is very impressive. Mukul Dev is a treat to watch. Arjan Bajwa, Arjun Bijlani & Vivek Dahiya have portrayed their role of NSG COMMANDOS very well. Rest of the cast is good. Matthew Leutwyler|s direction is good but it could have been better. The series is shown from the COMMANDO|S angle. Huge salute to our unsung heroes. The series is a tribute to all the heroes who fought for us and one will be proud of them after watching this series.

Whether to watch or not? -
If you want to watch this particular topic unfolding all the details like never before then State Of Siege 26/11 cannot be missed. Watch it for bravery of our heroes, the NSG COMMANDOS, the police force who fought against these terrorists and saved our city and don|t forget to give them a Salute at the end. Jai Hind !
